Soprano Sue's Sightings

The Sopranos hold a family funeral!

This is always such a fun event or is it?

May 17, 2005 marks the first funeral of Season 6 of The Sopranos.   At least this victim of could it be a shooting, drug overdose or "natural causes" (that does happen occasionally), has a corpse worthy of a funeral. And having a funeral like this, tells me, the character is very much loved.

Funerals usually mean the majority of the cast is in attendance.   To the right is Maureen Van Zandt, plays the character of Gabby Dante, the wife of Silvio Dante (Steve Van Zandt, above photo).    It is May here in New Jersey, but jackets are still required to feel comfortable.

Carl Capotorto, who character "Little Paulie Germani", took a real nasty beating from Eugene Pontecorvo, in the 5th season episode "Unidentified Black Males".   I heard that make up was actually going to create the damage inflicted on his face, for part of his character.

Steve Schirripa finally made it across the street to his dressing trailer.   Steve has a new book coming out,  Nicky Duece: Welcome to the family . , which has a release date of September 13.   It is targeted to the age groups of 9-13, according to Amazon.

George Loros, whose character of Raymond Curto

George Loros, whose character of Raymond Curto, has been working all alone for the FBI.   I hope those batteries he bought in the season 3 episode, "Mr. Ruggerio's Neighborhood", have long gone dead.

Frankie Valle, plays the character of "Rusty Milo" who is part of the New York Faction of the mob.   Question, whose funeral would also include those NY people?

Max Casella getting wired, for sound, not the FBI (at least I hope not, we need his character Benny Fazio to protect us from bears here in New Jersey).
