BIG PUSSY'S GANGSTER SQUAD IS COMING TO A CITY NEAR YOU TO DELIVER A SPECIAL HIT

Big Pussy's (Vinny Pastore) Gangster Squad has been appearing at venues in the New York Tri State area, playing a mixture of classic hits from all different music genres, Rhythm and Blues, Rock & Roll, Funk, Soul, and Reggae. With several upcoming shows, the band is looking forward to interacting with the audience, getting them out of their seats to give them an enjoyable evening of fun, that they will remember the good times of that night for a long time.

Vinny Pastore, besides singing to the Feds in his role as Sal ‘Big Pussy' Bonpensiero', on HBO's Emmy winning television series "The Sopranos", has been singing on stage with his band Big Pussy's Gangster Squad . As the former owner of the famed Crazy Horse Club in New Rochelle, NY, he was a considered a maverick for bringing many famous musicians to the Westchester club scene. As an actor, writer and director, he has over 25 year's experience in show business, with appearances on Broadway in the musicals, “Chicago” and recently in Woody Allen's “Bullets over Broadway”, movies (Mikey Blue Eyes, Gotti) and guest appeared on several television shows (General Hospital, Law & Order, Celebrity Apprentice).

About the band: Big Pussy's Gangster Squad members are of level musicians, and friends that have been part of Mr. Pastore life and career. All have their own successful music careers, having played with some of the best acts in the business. The band is comprised of Frank Pisani on keyboard and vocals, Al Orlo on lead guitar, Eddie Denise on bass guitar and vocals, Charlie Powers on drums and vocals, The Great Baron on Saxophone, and Blues singer Tommy ‘Blues' Buddha. Alternate musicians include Joel Smith & Gil Paris on guitar, Cliff Hackford & Bobby Deitch on drums, Rich Greenop on bass guitar; Special guests have included Jason Denise, Benny Harrison, Killer Joe, Lou Merola, & Batman from the Lido Soul Band, Precious Pia and Olinda Turrturro have been guest vocalists and the Great Gene Dinapoli, an Elvis Impersonator.

The bands past performances have included The Cutting Room/NYC; Resorts World Casino, Queens, NY; Goshen Historic Racetrack, Goshen, NY ; The New Meadowlands Racetrack, East Rutherford, NJ; Wonder Bar & Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ; The Hudson Room, NYC; Postos, New Rochelle, NY; The Bayou, Mount Vernon, NY; Hill Country, NYC; Brewskies, Bronx, NY; Joe & Joe, Pearl River, NY; White Sand Oceanfront Spa and Resort , Point Pleasant, NJ; Ranchero Cantina, Emerson, NJ; and as part of a Light of Day event to raise money for Parkinson's disease at the Emerson Theater in Mamaroneck, NY..
